If you're planning a stay of a few months in Central Oregon, here's what renters are paying right now and how a furnished place compares.
Bend
$2,519 a month is the average rent across all bedroom counts and property types, according to Zillow Rental Manager (updated October 4, 2026).
$2,300 a month is the median, according to Zumper (October 2026). Zumper puts the average one-bedroom apartment at $1,695 and the average two-bedroom at $1,815.
The two sources differ because they track different listings and calculate differently. Use them as a range, not as an exact number.
Redmond and Sisters
Zillow's typical rent index for July 2026, as reported by The Move Genie, was $2,098 a month in Redmond and $2,059 in Sisters, compared with $2,302 in Bend. Sisters is small, so there are few rentals there, and the cheaper ones go quickly.
How furnished monthly rentals compare
The figures above are mostly for standard, unfurnished long-term rentals. A furnished monthly place usually costs more, because the rent covers furniture, housewares and often utilities and Wi-Fi, and because the owner takes on more turnover. How much more depends on the place and the season, so compare actual listings.
Budget for the full cost
When you compare a furnished place with an unfurnished lease, count what you won't have to buy or set up yourself:
furniture, a bed, kitchenware and linens, or a moving truck,
utility and internet setup and deposits,
the commitment of a 12-month lease.
Every Furnished Keys listing shows the rent, utilities, the deposit and any fees separately, so you can compare the full monthly cost.
These figures are from the third-party sources linked above as of October 2026. Rents change month to month.
