Farmhouse that was originally built in 1789, this property provides a peaceful environment. The house is not visible from the road and it is surrounded by woods. With your stay, you are welcome to enjoy any of the public areas of the house. Please feel free to use the stationary bike or free weights when watching TV in the living room. We have plenty of farm fresh eggs that we sterilize and if requested we will happily give you some for to store in your private fridge in your room. Towels and dishware are also available upon request. This home resides on private property with over 5 acres of land, so you can enjoy solitude on the front porch. Wildlife you will likely spot are rabbits, humming birds, the occasional groundhog, deer and at times an elusive fox. -Animals on Premises- There are four indoor-only cats, all of which are extremely friendly. It is likely that two of the cats will sit with you in the living room or even cuddle you while sitting down watching TV. Outdoors we have chickens that we can have free-range the property or we can keep them in the enclosed chicken run/chicken coop to your comfort.

The space

Included in your room is a large mini-fridge with freezer. You also have plenty of workspace with the large L-shape desk. A large wardrobe is provided and upon request, you are welcome to extra towels, blankets or pillows. The room also has a 32" flatscreen television with an Apple TV. Heat: We have forced hot air, but will happily provide you with an additional space heater. Air Conditioning: Our home does not have central air, so we provide your room with a portable, upright air-conditioner.
