This apartment is neat, comfortable, and private, with everything you need for a short two-month stay-or longer. Conveniently located near both indoor and outdoor entertainment, it offers a comfortable home away from home. The South Street entrance is just six steps down to your front door, while a convenient rear entrance provides step-free access. The apartment features a large living room and kitchen, a welcoming foyer, a comfortable bedroom, plenty of closet space, authentic artwork, and beautiful carpets that add warmth and character. The apartment enjoys plenty of natural sunlight through its windows. Because it is partially below street level, it remains seasonably comfortable throughout the year. Of course, hot and cool HVAC is included for year-round comfort. Discover Historic Auburn Step outside your door and explore one of New York's most fascinating historic neighborhoods. Located in the heart of Auburn's South Street Historic District, our townhouses are just a short walk from the city's museums, restaurants, theaters, shops, and entertainment district. South Street preserves the charm and character of Auburn's historic past, with mature trees, historic streetlights, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes walking the neighborhood enjoyable both day and evening. It's a place where the past is around you, while everything you need for today is just a short walk away. South Street has been home to remarkable people who helped shape American history. Statesmen such as William H. Seward; reformers Harriet Tubman and Thomas Mott Osborne; innovators Theodore Case and David Munson Osborne; diplomats John Foster Dulles and Allen Dulles; women's rights pioneer Martha Coffin Wright; religious leader Brigham Young; Civil War hero General Clinton MacDougall; industrialist James Seymour; Congressman William Collier; and visitors such as Alexis de Tocqueville and Samuel Hopkins Adams all walked these streets. Here, history isn't simply something you read about-it is part of the neighborhood you'll call home.
The space
Picture speak better than words. The apartment was renovated this past fall and part of a 4 unit 1890's victorian town house. Private entry to your apartment, front and back egress, large sit in kitchen and large living room with original artwork and persian rug. The apartment has plenty of closet space. 1 off-street parking place and close to downtown social opportunities and the local hospital. No cats please as we just haven't had a good experience with tenants who have cats.
