The best thing about the home is its location on the Bluff above the Old Mill. Walk down to the Old Mill District and the river in 10 minutes to attend a concert, dine, shop, and walk/bike along the river; downtown Bend is 1 mile away; the ski shuttle is 1.5 miles away or drive yourself to Mt. Bachelor, which is 21 miles away. You also are less than 1/2 mile from 3rd street, which has many grocery stores, restaurants, and the Outlet Mall. Hwy 97 is just four blocks from the house to drive to Redmond or south to Crater Lake. No pets are allowed in the home. You will live in a quiet neighborhood. It is a single-story, 2 bedroom, 2 bath home that is part of a quiet triplex. It is an end unit. Open floor plan that allows people in the kitchen, living and dining areas to stay connected while cooking, eating, and watching a movie. Tall windows bring in natural light. The gas fireplace adds a cozy feel. There is a large dining table (seats 6) and seating for 4 on the bar stools at the kitchen counter. The TV is a 43" LED LCD (Vizio Model D43-C1) with 1080p (not a smart tv). There is a ROKU device with a Guest Mode where you can connect to your Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu accounts. You can also watch some Live TV. There is no cable TV subscription, as such. A Blu-Ray DVD player and movies are provided. WiFi is TDS Ultra 300Mbps internet to connect 5 to 10 devices. Board games, card games, and books for all ages. Maps, brochures, and a local guidebook on activities and destinations in the area. The kitchen is FULLY EQUIPPED with Cuisinart cookware and bakeware, Ninja blender, coffee pot, rice cooker, toaster, Pyrex dishes, mixing bowls, loaf pans and other kitchen tools. Full sets of cutlery and glassware. Enjoy the wine and champagne glasses. There are matching plates and tumblers for dining on the patio if you want to cook on the gas grill. The master bedroom has a queen, Memory Foam bed, with full en suite bathroom, large walk-in closet and skylight. There is room to set up your computer on the desk. Please bring your own hangers for your clothes. The second bedroom sleeps two people in a trundle set-up with firm mattresses. There is a chest of drawers, nightstand and hooks for hanging items. This room does not have a closet. You can hang items in the utility room (see photos). There is a full bathroom with tub and shower combo just across the hall from second bedroom. Full size washer and dryer with 1/2 size ironing board. Utility room with shelves. The large garage is attached to the house, so you don't have to walk in the rain or snow to carry in your groceries. The garage has room for bicycles, kayaks, skis. Use the folding lawn chairs to sit by the river. Except for the large bedroom, the floors are COREtec luxury vinyl plank floors. COREtec floors are GREENGUARD Gold Certified meeting strict standards for indoor air quality and low VOC emissions. There is no yard maintenance required, EXCEPT shoveling snow. Per City of Bend code, owners' are responsible for removing snow in front of their home within 24 hours of it falling. Guests are expected to shovel the snow on the sidewalk, up the front walkway, and in the short driveway. A snow shoveling service could be arranged at guest's expense.
