Cook amazing meals in a fully stocked kitchen, fall asleep in a comfortable queen bed and relax on a great patio with hot tub, fire pit and a hammock! And your dog will be in heaven in the huge fenced yard (I bet you can't throw a frisbee all the way across). The space Unwind and relax after a day exploring all the fun Bend things. This is a quiet, cozy and private little cottage with a great patio (with hot tub) and a huge yard. Prefect spot for dogs with a half acre of fenced yard for them to explore. Hot tub and a fantastic patio with covered pergola, hammock, day bed, propane and gas fire pits and two infrared heaters in the pergola (they cut the chill in the fall and spring but dont stand up to winter temps). Bright, quiet and cozy interior with a cozy gas fireplace, lots of books, board games and even a meditation pillow and yoga mat. Also a 50 smart tv with lots to watch. Perfect home for a self care evening, weekend or more. Sonos speakers in the living room and patio allow you to wirelessly play music synced between both spaces (from the Sonos s1 app on your smartphone). Alexa in the bedroom can lull you to sleep with rainforest sounds and control the bedroom lights. Fully stocked kitchen with everything from pots and pans to an instant pot and a lazy susan with essentials and room for you to make yourself at home. One bedroom is good size with a cozy queen bed, closet and a full office workstation. The second bedroom is small with a full-size futon and small desk (no closet). Full office workspace in the main bedroom is perfect for digital nomads - it includes fast and reliable Wi-Fi, a sit/stand desk, a comfortable office chair, a wireless charging mouse pad, great lighting for video calls, and a second monitor ready to go! The second bedroom has a small desk that can be used as a second workspace. Located in a quiet and safe neighborhood just a 1/2 mile outside of Bends city limits - 10 min drive to downtown Bend, 5 min drive to Tumalo, 20 min to Sisters and 20 min to Redmond. **PERFECT FOR LONG STAYS** - washer and dryer - fully stocked kitchen with quality pans and knives - super comfortable queen bed - Excellent office setup (super fast and reliable WIFI, extra monitor, comfortable office chair, printer, and the desk faces a window overlooking trees, flowers, and shrubs.) Guest access The house, yard, and patio are available for your private use (everything inside the gates). Shared garage access. The driveway is shared - you can park in front of the garage door. Just leave the right side of the driveway accessible. (Note: the right side of house beyond the concrete pad is not available for guest access. You'll use the driveway from house to road and everything inside the gates - more than a half acre all yours!) Other things to note I may stay during all or part of your stay in a travel trailer on the back corner of the property. It is outside the fenced areas which are private to you. You may hear me come and go but you probably won't see me (unless you need something). I also will occasionally access the garage which shares a wall with the house but the entrances to it are outside your fenced yard area. Hot tub: guest will be responsible for keeping the hot tub water clean. I can provide chemicals and show you how to use them or we can hire someone for an extra cost. WINTER BOOKINGS: - Watch out for ice! The patio, walkways, deck and yard can get icy so watch your step when outside. - Snow will be cleared before you arrive. If it snows during your stay, yay! Cozy! You'll need to shovel the patio if you want to use it and the driveway (you can park close to the road to avoid a lot of shoveling). Shovels and ice melt will be provided. You can also use my snowblower for the driveway if you're up for it. SUMMER BOOKINGS: - The house has a portable AC unit in the main room (living room/kitchen) and fans in the bedrooms. Bend nights usually cool off enough that I only tend to use the AC for maybe a week/year but I can have it set up and available if temperatures for your stay are going to be high. - I usually shut down the hot tub around July and August when temps are highest and the nights aren't cooling off. - Renter is responsible for mowing the lawn and basic upkeep (like letting making sure things are getting watered).
