Built in 2021, my townhouse with upstairs bedrooms is clean, bright and uncluttered with comfy, modern furnishings. - Fully equipped kitchen with Instant Pot and Vitamix blender. - Owner is non-smoking and does not own a pet. - Third bedroom is an office with sit-stand desk, yoga mat and dumbbells. - South-facing outdoor patio The house is light and bright. The upstairs, east-facing windows aren't overlooked, so you have privacy in this quiet development. Two food cart pods with live music are a 5 to 10-minute walk, plus grocery stores (Whole Foods & Safeway) are a 10 minute walk. Walk to the top of Pilot Butte in 40 minutes for beautiful sunsets over Mt. Bachelor and the Three Sisters. From Pilot Butte, follow trails to downtown via bike. Downtown and the Old Mill District are 10 minutes by car. Cascades Lake Highway and Smith Rock offer amazing hiking with beautiful views. Clothes are dried via two racks on the upstairs landing (there is no dryer in the unit). With the very low humidity in Bend, clothing dries in about an hour. One small to medium sized pet is okay for up to two months as long as you will vacuum thoroughly before leaving. Hypo-allergenic pets preferred.

The space

You will have private use of the main bedroom with ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet. The house is shared with me, the owner. I travel frequently, from weekends to four-week trips, so you will have the house entirely to yourself when I am out of town. Shared spaces: Kitchen, living room, utility, patio are shared. When working, the owner has primary use of the home office/third bedroom. When I am away from home you can park in the garage, otherwise parking is on-street. Neighborhood: The Pilot Butte neighborhood is very safe and conveniently located, with two taphouses with food carts that both offer live music, plus a Whole Foods and Safeway grocery stores are in walking distance of the house. Walk to the top of Pilot Butte for beautiful sunsets over Mt. Bachelor and The Three Sisters mountains.
