This guest suite is a private unit on the first floor of the owner-occupied house. Guests have a separate entrance from the backyard of the house. There is a king-sized bed with two twin xl comforters, a sturdy twin xl-sized roll-out trundle bed, couch, eating nook with table and chairs, closet with hangers, and large bathroom with two sinks, walk-in shower, and separate toilet room. An additional sleeping pad with bedding can be provided for an additional child with advance notice to the host upon booking. A pack-n-play is available for use! There is also a microwave, toaster oven, mini-refrigerator, plates and utensils. A dedicated work space in the bedroom has a motorized sit-stand desk with office chair. The smart TV offers basic television channels or you can login with your own credentials to stream content. Another door connects to the main residence, but will remain locked during your stay to ensure your privacy. You can expect normal household noises from the main residence, which we try to keep respectful. 2 adults, 1 Kid, and 1 dog live here so this is a family-friendly environment. Note, for families with small children, there is an unfenced pond in the backyard thats roughly 2.5 ft deep.

The space

The house is in a quiet neighborhood that's great for peaceful strolls and easy access to Pilot Butte. The room is on the first floor with views of the front and back yards. There are sleeping spaces for 3, but you would probably feel crowded after a bit. That said, there is a lovely fenced yard with options for kids. Backyard also has a BBQ, fish pond, and a fire pit. Neighborhood: Experience all there is to offer in Bend from this private guest suite in a quiet East Bend neighborhood. Easy access to restaurants, grocery, hospital (1.7 miles/5minutes), walking path, and community center with pool and and fitness center. 7-15 minutes to anywhere in town, the Deschutes River, and mountain bike trails. 40 minutes to Mt. Bachelor ski resort and Smith Rock State Park. A great home base on the quiet side of town.
