Designed with warmth, flexibility, and modern comfort in mind, this private retreat offers the perfect blend of nature and convenience - just steps from the Deschutes River and minutes from downtown. Interior Features Inside, you'll find a thoughtfully arranged space with a double bed, cozy sitting area, and a Murphy-style desk that stows away to maximize floor space. The studio is fully furnished, with extra linens provided, and includes a dresser, closet/armoire, coat hooks, and plenty of cabinet space for storage. Dual-function shades in both the studio and attached, private, full bathroom offer blackout, filtered light, or full sunlight options. The kitchen is a standout! A large kitchen island doubles as a dining bar with two stools and can be collapsed for more space. Featuring a full-sized fridge, microwave, coffee pot, tea kettle, plug-in induction single burner "stove", an Instapot 3 quart 7-in-1 pressure cooker, and a high-end Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 toaster oven/air fryer combo with dual compartments - perfect for multitasking meals like cheesecake and salmon without flavor crossover. You will have everything you need to cook full meals every day. All cookware, utensils, gadgets, dishtowels, dish drying rack, cleaning supplies, etc. are included. The bathroom is a modern, aesthetic, and efficient use of space, with a walk-in shower, oversized medicine cabinet, vanity lighting, and ample shelf storage. Towels, hand towels, and washcloths are provided. Laundry facilities are on site and laundry access will be arranged on a tenant-by-tenant basis, as it is located within the adjoining home. Storage that may be arranged with landlords consists of a covered, outdoor, locked storage unit accessible from the landlord's backyard. Comfort & Climate Stay cozy in winter with heat from the main house HVAC, a built-in cadet wall heater, and a beautiful wall-mounted electric fireplace that has a variety of lighting and heat/no-heat options (please do not set above 74F). Mountain biking trails abound. Phil's Trail is a local gem and a mountain biking mecca just 4 miles west of downtown Bend, making it incredibly accessible from The Juniper Studio. Part of a sprawling trail network with hundreds of miles of singletrack, Phil's has everything from mellow forest rides to technical descents and jump lines. There are bouldering spots around Bend, while Smith Rock State Park, just 26 miles from The Juniper Studio, offers world-class rock climbing and stunning high desert hikes all within a scenic 35-minute drive. Parking Guests enjoy off-street, well-lit parking directly beside the patio entrance. The studio is accessed through this patio that is exclusively for guest use, ensuring ease and privacy. In winter, the owners will shovel the driveway of snow for safe access. Lease & Logistics A fixed-term lease with a minimum of 31-days is required. Renter's Insurance required. Housekeeping services include a mandatory bi-monthly (twice a month) cleaning, to be arranged directly with landlord, with timing of cleanings based on tenant preferences Minimum stay: 31 days Preferred stay: 3+ months Maximum stay: 6 months Monthly rent: $1,745 (includes utilities, Wi-Fi, and parking) Security deposit: One months rent (refundable) Mandatory bi-monthly (twice a month) cleaning: $150 per month, in addition to monthly rent Tenant Screening Tenant screening may be requested through KeyCheck, Furnished Finders' secure screening partner (includes credit, background, and eviction history reports), which costs $44.99 and uses TransUnion SmartMove. The process includes a soft credit check that does not hurt the score, and results in a criminal background check, and an eviction history report and landlord evaluation of eviction and criminal history, payment record, credit score number, and employment. Lawful source of income is not considered in screening decisions. Criminal history is evaluated using Oregon's individualized assessment requirements, considering the nature, severity, and age of any offense and its relevance to tenancy. Screening fees are charged at actual cost and no additional fee will be charged if you apply again within 60 days.
