Classic renovated 1800s schoolhouse in excellent condition, set on 5 private acres of farmland in a picturesque country setting. Only 15 minutes to Middlebury, and 50 minutes to Burlington, this rustic & cozy little oasis is set on a quiet back road close to walking & hiking trails. One main bedroom and one full bath, it's the perfect size for a single person or a couple (or two friends if you don't mind the close quarters). A second bedroom features a cozy office and guest room, with a spacious desk space and futon couch for guests. While small, this little house has no shortage of character and charm! Microwave, Toaster oven, dishwasher provided in addition to all main kitchen appliances. A new washer & dryer was added in 2023, in addition to laundry line in the back yard. While there is a wood stove, tenants will use the electric baseboard heat in addition to a new energy efficient heat pump installed in 2024. Heat/electric is included in rent up to $200. Well trained pets considered with deposit. Sorry, no Cats. Message for rental application.
