Heads up, there's a german shepherd who lives next door. She may bark at you as you come in and out! If the weather is nice, feel free to open the windows. The split unit (AC and heat) is controlled by a big remote: sun icon for heat, snowflake for AC! If you're cold, set the heat temperature a little higherthe thermostat is on the unit and runs hot. To dim the lights in the apartment hit the light switch on, then off, then on again. The bathroom fan also has two settingsif you can't hear it, flip the switch off and then on again. The pull-out couch instruction page is in a frame on the wall next to it. We do not allow parties at this location. No driveway access. Limited free street parking in neighborhood. There is also an affordable garage just 2 mins from our house, called A&J Parking.

The space

This studio apartment is the lower part of a house in a beautiful suburban part of the Bronx. It's just a short walk from public transportation, several stores, restaurants, and services. The apartment has a full-size bed (sleeps 2), as well as a couch, bathroom, kitchen, and access to a washer/dryer. By having your own entrance on the side of the house you can come and go as you please during your stay. You will receive a custom key code before your arrival. No driveway access. Limited free street parking.
