Welcome to our home in Brooklyn! We offer a comfortable, fully furnished private room in a well-kept five-bedroom apartment with two shared full bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. It's a great fit for travel nurses, healthcare professionals, students, and anyone coming to New York for work or an extended stay. One of the things I appreciate most about our home is the atmosphere. We are friendly, respectful working professionals with busy schedules, so the apartment is usually peaceful and often feels like there's hardly anyone home. Most of us return from work, prepare a light meal, relax, and get some rest. We enjoy a clean, organized home, respect each other's privacy, and expect the same consideration from everyone who stays with us. There's no smoking, drug use, parties, or unregistered visitors. You'll have access to Wi-Fi, a shared kitchen for light cooking, a comfortable living area, basic toiletries, and a washer and dryer available once a week during designated hours. We also share our home with Polo, our sweet 18-year-old Shih Tzu, who spends most of his time sleeping and is a very quiet little companion. Our location makes everyday life especially convenient. The 2 and 5 subway lines, Chase Bank, and the post office are less than a five-minute walk away, and Manhattan is approximately 30-40 minutes by subway, depending on your destination. Beautiful Prospect Park is less than a ten-minute walk away, perfect for jogging, walking, or simply unwinding after a busy day. You'll also find Lidl, Western Beef, local cafés, restaurants, pharmacies, and plenty of neighborhood shops nearby. One thing I always like to mention is that the bedroom windows face a city street, so you can hear passing cars. It's normal NYC traffic noise, and I provide complimentary earplugs if needed. However, if you're particularly sensitive to noise and need complete silence to sleep, our home may not be the right fit. I believe it's important for guests to know what to expect before moving in. I've been welcoming guests for years, and my goal has always been to provide a clean, comfortable, and respectful environment where people can feel at home while maintaining their independence and privacy.
