Our block is a tranquil, quiet block of mostly owner-occupied row houses amidst a bustling urban mixed-class, mixed-race family friendly community. We are a short walk to Greenwood Cemetery, Sunset Park, and Industry City. There are wonderful restaurants and bars nearby and it's a quick subway ride into Manhattan. The downstairs apartment is fully private with its own separate entrance, bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom. It was newly renovated in 2022 and there are new appliances, as well as mini-split heating/AC units in the bedroom and the living room. We live upstairs in a separate unit and can be available for anything that may be needed. We will need access to the apartment approximately twice a week to do laundry, but can easily accommodate the tenant's schedule and will never enter unannounced. There is a backyard that you are welcome to use. We have two children and a dog, and you may hear us above you particularly during the afternoons and evenings. We can't have cats in the apartment, but could consider a small dog with a pet deposit. We normally charge $150/night, $975/week, or $2700/month. We don't pro-rate a nightly rent based on the listed $2700 monthly charge, but hopefully we can work something out that is amenable depending on your length of stay.

The space

We are on a usually quiet urban block in an amazingly diverse, convenient, family-oriented neighborhood. 1 block from the express train and sandwiched between two parks (Sunset Park and Greenwood Cemetery). Tons of shopping and activities at Industry City 2 blocks away. Sunset Park is a hidden gem in NYC!
