This beautifully furnished three-bedroom, two-bath, all utilities paid, log home in Buffalo Wyoming combines the warmth and character of a true Western cabin with the modern comforts and thoughtful extras needed for an extended stay. Curl up beside the indoor fireplace, enjoy a movie on the 80-inch Smart TV, soak in the private five-to-six-person hot tub or let your fur babies stretch their legs in the fenced yard. With Smart TVs and ceiling fans in every bedroom, several dedicated workspaces, a fully equipped kitchen and owner-provided snow removal, this is much more than a furnished rental it is your home for the Wyoming winter. Available exclusively from November 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027, the home is ideal for traveling professionals, remote workers, relocating families, insurance stays, hunters, skiers, snowmobilers and outdoor enthusiasts seeking a comfortable home base for 30 nights or longer. WINTER ADVENTURES AND LOCATION Buffalo is the gateway to the southern Bighorn Mountains and Bighorn National Forest. Meadowlark Ski Lodge is approximately 45 50 miles away along scenic Highway 16, offering downhill skiing and snowboarding in a relaxed mountain setting. The Bighorn National Forest offers nearly 400 miles of over-snow vehicle trails, with access to the southern Bighorn snowmobiling areas from Buffalo via Highway 16. The area also offers cross-country skiing, hiking, wildlife viewing and other year-round outdoor recreation. The home provides a convenient base for properly licensed hunters pursuing seasonal opportunities throughout Johnson County and the surrounding Bighorn region. Hunting is not permitted on the property, and residents are responsible for confirming current licenses, seasons, designated hunt areas and public-access requirements. When you are not exploring the mountains, enjoy convenient access to historic downtown Buffalo, local restaurants, shopping, healthcare facilities, Interstate 90 and the scenic Cloud Peak Skyway. We are set in a quiet Buffalo neighborhood, and this cozy log home is a great base for winter adventure. Meadowlark Ski Lodge is 45 miles away; Antelope Butte is roughly 95 miles/under 2 hours. Buffalo's outdoor community ice rink operates when weather allows; Sheridan's indoor Whitney Rink, shopping and dining are 35 40 minutes away. Sheridan County Airport is about 35 miles/37 minutes away and offers nonstop Denver service. Nearly 400 miles of Bighorn snowmobile trails are accessible via Highway 16, with rentals, guided tours and licensed hunting outfitters available locally. Casper airport is 119 miles/1 hour 50 minutes; Billings airport is 167 miles/2 hours. Thermopolis Hot Springs is 124 miles/2 hours. Yellowstone is 4 6 hours depending on route; only the road between its North and Northeast entrances generally remains open to regular vehicles in winter. The private hot tub comfortably seats five to six people and offers the perfect place to unwind after skiing, snowmobiling, hunting or exploring the Bighorn Mountains. The fenced yard gives approved fur babies room to stretch their legs, while the covered outdoor areas make it possible to enjoy the Wyoming setting throughout the season. Owner-arranged snow removal will be provided as reasonably necessary. Residents are responsible for exchanging or refilling the propane tank used by the fire-pit table as needed. HOT TUB CARE Routine hot tub service and chemical maintenance will be arranged by the owner. We ask Residents to keep the hot tub covered and secured when not in use, follow all operating instructions and allow reasonable access for scheduled service. Glass, soaps, oils, bath products and other foreign substances are prohibited in and around the hot tub. Residents may not drain or refill the hot tub, alter the chemicals or temperature limits, or tamper with its equipment. Any malfunction, leak, unusual water condition or damage must be reported immediately. Residents are responsible for cleaning, repair or service costs resulting from misuse, negligence or unauthorized adjustments. AVAILABILITY AND RENTAL REQUIREMENTS The home is available only from November 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027. The minimum stay is 30 nights, and all rental dates must fall within this seasonal availability period. Before occupancy, residents must: Sign the rental agreement Complete the required background and credit screening Pay all required move-in funds according to pre approved arrangements . For stays longer than 30 nights, first month's rent, last month's rent and the refundable security deposit must be paid before move-in. For stays more than 30 nights, we are willing to work out additional arrangements if needed. CLEANING FEE AND UTILITIES A one-time, nonrefundable cleaning fee of $300 applies to a 30-night stay. The cleaning fee is $450 for stays of 31 nights or longer. Utilities are included up to a combined allowance of $450 per month. Residents are responsible for usage exceeding that allowance, based on copies of the applicable utility bills. PET POLICY Pets may be considered with prior written approval. Up to two cats and two dogs may be approved. A one-time, nonrefundable pet fee of $350 applies per approved pet. Assistance animals are not pets and will be handled in accordance with applicable fair-housing requirements. ADDITIONAL TERMS No smoking, vaping, parties or unauthorized occupants are permitted. The home and outdoor areas are fully furnished, and residents are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear. On-property parking is available in the driveway and accommodates 4 vehicles. The garage is not included and will not be accessible to residents. Four exterior security cameras are located on the property two at the front and two at the rear of the home. All audio recording is disabled, and the camera near the hot tub will remain deactivated throughout the rental period.
