We rent three bright, spacious, comfortable, beautifully-furnished bedrooms in our historic home. You can rent one, two, or all three, as suits your needs. We also allow friendly, well-behaved dogs, as long as you scoop the poop, they don't bark when you're not here, and they don't chase our cats. We are located about 20-30 minutes' pleasant walk from UVM Medical Center. Your commute will take you along well-lit, quiet streets and through the Champlain College and University of Vermont campuses. Two of the three bedrooms include queen beds and are 400 sq ft. The third is somewhat smaller (about 300 sq ft) and has only a full-sized bed but it makes up for its smaller size with a lovely view of the lake. Each bedroom has a desk; a mini-fridge, microwave, and electric kettle; and a private ensuite bathroom. Extra-large windows ensure lots of sunlight in all the rooms. You'd also have access to a shared, quiet work-from-home space, on-site laundry facilities, a living room with a cozy fireplace, a shady wrap-around back porch, and a large backyard (you can even have your own garden plot if you're here in the summer). We rent by the night with a minimum 30-day stay. $45 per night includes absolutely everything - off-street parking in our driveway, all utilities, supplies (sheets, towels, toilet paper, etc.), high-speed internet, use of the washer and dryer, off-street parking, and bi-weekly professional cleaning. You'd be sharing the house with three cheerful, good-humored introverts (a married couple and the husband's mom), two friendly cats, and a rescue dog. We ask only that you be (reasonably) neat, quiet, non-tobacco-smoking, and love animals. The space

These are not your average "room in a house" - the rooms are sunny and spacious and each has its own private ensuite bath plus a mini-fridge, microwave, electric kettle, and basic essentials for making tea and coffee and heating up simple meals. They're beautifully and comfortably furnished with antiques - even a hotel-quality bathrobe. There's a free shared washer/dryer on the premises. All supplies (toilet paper, tissues, laundry detergent, etc.) are included.
