The guest house is entirely private. It is attached to our single family home. We share a backyard, a driveway and the foyer outside your front entrance. We may cross paths in one of these shared spaces. Please be aware that we are close to the airport and there is airplane traffic, both military and commercial. You can see F-35 jets flying overhead and they are loud. We live in a busy part of town but River House is a little oasis.

The space

River House was built in the summer of 2017 with its historic mill neighborhood in mind. The attached original house dates back to the 1890s and you'll see many historic details in the tiny house such as photos, maps and books. There are funky, arty touches around the house including large paintings and some smaller works by local artists. River House is permitted and inspected by the city of Burlington.
