COMAL COUNTY BURN BAN ON: As of right now, Comal County IS currently under a burn ban, therefore use of the outdoor fireplace is PROHIBITED. Please note that anytime you book a home in Texas Hill Country, there is always the risk that the county could be under a burn ban based on recent weather conditions. We work hard to keep our guests updated on the current status of any burn bans. Our hot tub is always available for use and is a great way to stay warm while enjoying the outdoors year-round, especially if any burn bans prevent guests from using the outdoor fireplace. MONTH LONG+ STAYS For longer term stays, we require collection of a $1,000 FULLY REFUNDABLE security deposit the day before you check in. This is only done for stays that are a month long or longer to ensure the home is kept in good condition during the stay. Our goal is to fully refund it back as long as the guest treated the home with care and there is no damage. The security deposit gets sent back once the guest checks out and our cleaners give us the green light to process it. Please note that we do not allow check-ins or check-outs on major holidays (Thanksgiving & Christmas Day). This is so we can allow our cleaners to have these holidays off with their families. Please note, in an effort to maintain a secure premises, the home is equipped with a ring doorbell and three exterior cameras. One exterior camera looks out into the front entrance/driveway and the other two are located on the backside of the house. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras on the inside. Our home is thoroughly cleaned between each stay and ensures compliance with Airbnb's enhanced 5-step cleaning protocol. We charge a hot tub fee (this is listed as a resort fee on Airbnb since they don't have a "hot tub fee") because we have the hot tub serviced and cleaned after every stay (this fee goes directly to our hot tub cleaning crew). We take pride in how clean our homes are and that includes ensuring the hot tubs have clean and safe water for every guest. Any items left behind by a guest will be either thrown out, or shipped to the guest at their expense.
