Spacious quiet country house with lots of room to roam outside. Post-and-beam construction with hardwood floors, lots of areas to relax, fully-furnished with a projector for movie viewing, and a screened-in porch for reading, relaxing and dining. Our house is on 37 acres, though much of it is wooded. We've got some lovely walking trails through an open meadow down to our swimming pond if the weather permits. Lawn and trails will be maintained for your stay. 25 minutes from Cooperstown, NY, Bassett Medical Center, Glimmerglass Lake, and the Baseball Hall of Fame. Heating, air-conditioning, a new dishwasher and speedy Starlink internet. Our place would be ideal for remote work, or an extended writing retreat, but it's also about 25 minutes from either Cooperstown or Cobleskill if you have work there.
