We have loved this property for almost 30 years as we raised our girls, ran our growing businesses and evolved alongside this cozy historic home. We are proud to offer this safe and cozy space to people wanting to experience living in the sweet town of Chester. This apartment is the first floor of a restored 1850's home, within easy walking distance to restaurants and pubs, rivers, farms, trails, antique shops, galleries, and a grocer. It has a separate and private entrance on the first floor of a two unit house. We live part-time in the barn apartment connected to the back of the house. This property sits on a main road in downtown Chester that offers easy all season access on paved roads to Ludlow (north), Grafton (south), Londonderry (west), and Springfield (east). There are currently long term tenants living on the second floor of the main house. We share gardens and a very large back yard with a stream (and sometimes baked goods).

Apartment is the sunny first floor of a two unit home. We have a barn apartment behind the house that we live in part time. We enjoyed renovating this unit in 2024 with a new gourmet kitchen that has everything: a 36" range, large kitchen sink and locally crafted concrete countertops, and huge walk in pantry/laundry room. Large sunny double dining/living room has a south facing bay window and wide pine floorboards. Bedroom has a queen bed (not shown) and there is a separate office/study room.
