The Cody Cottage has been described as a "hidden gem". Our guests have delighted in the bunnies and deer in the backyard, rested well on comfortable mattresses and bedding, and enjoyed the well-appropriated kitchen. If TV is your thing, there are three-- a large screen in the living room; one in the kitchen; and one in the basement suite. Though the house is vintage, the inside has been completely remodeled. Next to the house is a parking pad which can accommodate two cars, nose to tail. There is a storage shed that is used for storing lawn mowers and yard tools. There is a large backyard with a table for enjoying the town wildlife and catching a few rays of Wyoming sun. The Cottage is across the street from the High School. During the school day, the street parking is full from students, but this doesn't affect the private parking that the Cottage has. Despite it being near the high school, it is still relatively quiet even during school hours. The Cottage is well situated in Cody. Our "main street" (Sheridan Ave.) is within walking distance, offering shopping and dining. The famous Buffalo Bill Center of the West Museum is also a short walk away. Walmart is a five minute drive, as is Albertson's in the other direction. Cody Regional Hospital is also just a few blocks away-- less than half a mile. And the amazing Park County Library and the Rec Center are an 8 minute walk or a short drive. It is literally in the perfect location for all things Cody!
