Sasanqua 2 (saSANkwa) is a beautiful apartment in the upstairs of my bungalow (and former home) in downtown Columbia in the charming historic Earlewood neighborhood. The home is 1.4 miles to PRISMA Richland, 1.5 miles to Prisma Baptist and 3.5 miles to Lexington Medical Center. Sasanqua 2 is my former home and is filled with art from my travels, a fully-equipped kitchen with induction cooktop, a king-sized bed with Ballard Design Bedding, comfortable furniture and a beautiful deck overlooking a wooded lot, complete with outdoor dining, fire pit and two swivel rockers. You have your own designated parking spot and separate entrance. There is a tenant downstairs as well and this is most likely another traveling healthcare professional. Sasanqua 2 is part of a small subdivision of craftsman style homes which also has a community pool. You are a two-minute drive to the heart of downtown Columbia but Sasanqua 2 has a mountain bungalow feel. There are very few places in Downtown Columbia that offer the getaway feel that Sasanqua 2 does. You will be close to restaurants, shopping, museums, parks, our award-winning zoo and walking trails along the river. There are several grocery stores fifteen minutes away and a Publix five minutes away. The cost includes all utilities and your designated parking spot. Sasanqua 2 is quiet and calm. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, spices and even Reidel wine glasses. Because I work for the city magazine in Columbia, I can point you in the direction of the best shopping, events and excursions. Columbia, affectionately referred to as "Soda City" is located in central South Carolina and is a 1.5 hour drive to our upstate mountains and our wonderful beaches, including Charleston. You will love your stay in Columbia!
