If tenant has allergies they must supply their own linens, blankets, and towels. Welcome To Townley Court Apartments! Please keep these important aspects in mind when applying to rent one of our historical apartments. Each apartment has its own window air conditioner. Steam heated radiators are in each apartment and provide wonderful heat. The windows are the beautiful original single pane steel framed windows. The main south building faces Town St. the courtyard studio is in this building on the highly desired courtyard. Each building has the original historical brass gate style elevator. The front building courtyard is home to a beautiful cascading garden fountain. A short beautiful walk from Townley will take you through the historic neighborhood to the Topiary Park Garden. Matthew Loving's father and Annette Loving's father-in-law, Charles K Loving, was the instrumental pillar for the city of Columbus to host this beautiful park and deter the voices of development. Townley Courts Central location is also walking distance to the Columbus Museum of Art, Old Town East (Shops/ Eats/ Drinks). German Village is walking distance or 5 minutes by car. As you enter the Village via 3rd St. and Livingston, stop at the corner and visit Katzingers Deli ( est 1827), after lunch stroll a little further down to Pistachio Vera homemade pastries and drinks. Now that you are pleasantly full stroll a little further to the German Village book loft to browse and enjoy a great afternoon read outside on the patio. Need an afternoon pick-me-up? Go next door to Staufs Coffee shop or stroll further down the street to Winans Chocolates & Coffee shop, or stop into a nice little boutique nearby, or Penzones Salon! Wow! Oh no! Its already dinnertime! Around the corner is one of the greatest sausage houses known to man! Surprise! Its the famous Schmidts Sausage Haus! Now you know you definitely have to try their famous Bratwurst or Bahamma Mama sandwich and finish the day with their homemade oversized Creme Puff. Lol! Well that was a full day, time to head back to Townley Court and get some R/R. Beautiful Historic German Village, Central downtown High Street, and the Short North all with their eats and drinks and shops are only a five minute drive from the apartments. If you need groceries, Krogers is a five minute drive, Hills Food Market(groceries and prepared foods and salad bar) is only a 10 minute walk, and if you do not want to leave the premises delivery is available to the front door of each building. As a bonus for all of our tenants, Matthew & Annette Loving have a standing invitation to their grand Christmas event/mini tour of the grand Loving Castle, 539 E Town St.(go to You Tube, Christmas 2023 How the Grinch Restored Christmas to view last years event). This event is the first Saturday in December and the same day as the Downtown Trolly Hop so. No pets or ESA animals. 4. Parking first come first serve lot and street parking around property. 5. No candles - No Incense. 6. Sheets and pillow cases must be washed and dried and beds made before check out. 7. All trash must be taken out to brown dumpster in back of building. 8. All trash must be taken out prior to check out. 9. Bicycles must be kept in supplied storage locker. 10. Nothing is to be mounted on the walls, no painting. 11. Report any maintenance needs immediately to 614.221.4573, follow prompts for after hours assistance ( water leaking, power outage, etc.) and another prompt for next business day needs. 12. Never share your key code for entry. 13. NO smoking, vaping, or weapons inside or outside on the premises. 14. Food - Waiver of Liability Host may provide a gift of store bought and/or perishable food and consumables, prepared without regard to any particular food allergy or health condition.
