This new studio above our detached garage was completed in early 2026. We are close to Montpelier, Barre, and Plainfield in a rural atmosphere. McKnight Farm, a local certified organic dairy farm, hays our property and neighboring fields a few times a year setting a delightful Vermont aesthetic. The property sits at the end of a private road. We provide utilities including snow plowing, trash removal, mowing, internet, electric (solar), heat and AC. Hot water (propane) is the responsibility of the tenant.
The space
Fully furnished and equipped second floor studio above detached garage with private entrance. The studio is open and full of light with amazing sunrises and distant views of the surrounding mountains. The space includes 3 small closets, washer & dryer, full sized shower, as well as custom built cabinets in the kitchen. There is one parking spot for tenant's vehicle. We are 4.3 miles from downtown Montpelier and convenient to many hospitals such as CVMC in Berlin which is only 5.5 miles away.
