Located on Elizaville's beautiful North Twin Lake, our home is a year-round retreat where you can relax while enjoying beautiful views of the lake and all the Hudson Valley has to offer: swimming in the summer, leaf peeping and apple picking in the fall, cozying up by the fire or venturing across the frozen lake in the winter, and exploring hiking trails and cultural landmarks year round. This house has been in our family since 1974 and we have made many lasting memories around the lake. It is set up with multiple large communal areas that are perfect for enjoying the company of family and friends. Although the house is quite spacious and comfortably sleeps 8+ people, please note there is ONLY ONE SHOWER indoors. We have an additional outdoor shower, but this is shut off in the winter months. - Living Room One: Couch, chairs, television, and fireplace - Living Room Two: L-shaped sectional couch, fold-out couch, television, lofted sleeping area (2 twin mattresses) - Basement: One twin bunk, two twin beds, half bathroom, washer and dryer - Kitchen: Large eat-in kitchen with communal table (6-8 people) and prep-island that seats an additional 4 people - Back Deck: Off the kitchen is a large deck that overlooks the lake. On the deck is an outdoor table for 6-8 people and a gas grill. - Lake Access: Steps lead down from the main deck to a lower deck on the water. You can spend your day swimming, fishing or rowing around the lake. - Fire pit: In the front of the house we have a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. Perfect for roasting marshmallows under the stars. - Parking: Up to 4 cars can park directly across the street from the house.
