For traveling professionals, outdoor enthusiasts and writers, who enjoy the peace of country living and also enjoy the restaurants, shops and amenities of city life close by, within a 7 minute drive. Located on Fairfield Hill, which overlooks St. Albans City, this very spacious 700 square foot one-bedroom attached accessory apartment has a separate, private entrance. Property owner lives next door in the main house of this duplex. This is a newly furnished unit, bed is brand new. Space available, at no extra charge, in unheated/non air conditioned storage space below the unit for seasonal tires and sporting gear during rental period (ie: kayaks, skis, mountain bikes, etc) . Vermont is a pet-friendly state, however, no pets are permitted in this unit (including exotics) in order to accommodate people with allergies, asthma or sensitivities to animal dander. No smoking or vaping is permitted either. Winter travelers are strongly advised to have snow tires on their vehicle for safety and ease of travel on country roads as all-season tires do a poor job of managing the winter travel on the dirt roads and the hill, to and from the city on heavy snow days.
