Stylish, dog-friendly fully furnished in-law suite on bottom floor of owner occupied Quechee Home. A short drive to Hanover/Dartmouth college (20 minutes) DHMC Medical, Woodstock, and Killington and Saskadena 6 ski areas. Located a couple miles up a quiet wooded (and paved) road. Private entrance to apartment located off a private lower deck with keypad entry. The large living area has 1.5 bathrooms, a big smart TV, a new Joybird sofa with a very comfortable pull out bed, an eating space and small desk space. This apartment comfortably sleeps four- but for rentals beyond a week, a single person or couple would be most comfortable. There is a full bedroom with a Queen sized, very comfortable bed, a closet and attached full bathroom with a shower and tub. Additionally there is another 1/2 bathroom off the main living area. There is a kitchenette (with sink, microwave and mini fridge) along with a small propane Weber grill for use on the deck. The kitchenette is equipped with dishes, basic cookware and cooking needs for grilling and other food prep that doesn't require a stove. Access to full kitchen in owner's unit is available. There is laundry available for use in home above above as well. **note that kitchen and laundry will be shared. The suite is located below an owner occupied home and renters need to know that when we are home you can hear us below. It is myself and my 2 year old daughter and our two cats. Our house is situated amongst amazingly beautiful and easy to navigate trails with a small yard and beautiful view straight into the forrest. The surrounding area is a haven for dogs, and we are a dog-friendly rental. We ask that pets be fully house trained, and not get onto the couch. Dogs who bark at everything they hear will not be a good fit because of noise from above. Note that two cats live in owners unit and they are mostly outside warmer months. The rental space is cat free (to accommodate allergy needs). We have a small pet fee to ensure extra capacity for cleaning and to make it possible to continue renting to pet owners- which is a priority for us. There is a steep driveway that is professionally plowed and sanded, but can be slippery in winter. Similarly- we keep the path to the apartment shoveled and well sanded- but if that pathway is ever too slippery, there is another entrance to unit through the front door. In a big storm- we get plowed on timeline of snow removal company... in large storms there could be delays in getting plowed and renters should plan ahead. ****Renters can access the amenities available through the Quechee Club including indoor/outdoor pools, a fitness center, racket sports and skiing for an additional fee.
