Beautiful 1.4 acre property with a large pond and gorgeous sunset views! The apartment is located on the back of our 1860 Greek Revival farmhouse, with its own entrance, garden views, and sunlight from three directions. The apartment is attached to the main house, but you have your own entrance, kitchen, bath, laundry, living space, outdoor space, etc. There is an upstairs bedroom that connects the main house to the apartment that I use as my office, but it would remain locked on both sides during your stay. We are 30-something working professionals with two dogs and two rabbits. I work from home in the upstairs bedroom adjoining the apartment and spend my free time in the yard/garden. I am usually listening to a book while gardening, but occasionally listen to music and sing to my hearts content. The property does not have a fence, so there is a high chance you may interact with our dogs! They are generally well-behaved, but like children, may invade your bubble. While the apartment does have its own deck, they are social and may want to come say hi! Please also note the deck is not fully private, as it is visible from our side of the house and parts of the yard. It is, however, shielded from the street and neighbors.

The space

Bright space with gorgeous vistas of the surrounding property. Views of perennial wildflower garden and lawn from main floor where a well-appointed kitchen, dining area, full bathroom, in-unit laundry, separate workspace and living area provide all the amenities of home! Please note: the bedroom is the only room located upstairs and the stairwell is narrow and steep! There is an overhead light and motion-activated step lighting.
