The property was built in 1831, located on an original Civil War Land Grant, and the apartment was originally used by the Circuit Court Judge, hence now known as The Judge's Chambers. The surrounding 350 acres consist of protected woods and farmland. 1.5 miles of maintained walking, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing trails are available for your use. The 'loft' or former Judge's platform has a queen sized bed as well as a desk. The built-in seating area below in the 'living' area can be used for sleeping options for two visitors as needed. The western view from these two areas offer some of the best sunsets in the Finger Lakes past a horse barn and paddock. Spring, Summer and Fall you are able to look down on a half acre cut flower farm. The apartment is fully furnished and includes a large eat in kitchen and a bathroom with tub/shower. There is a hospital, Cayuga Medical Center, eleven minutes away as well as two universities - Cornell and Ithaca College - both twenty minutes away.
