ADU · 400 sq ft · 1 bed · 1 bath · No pets allowed.

Private, fully furnished 1BR/1BA cottage - ideal for traveling professionals on 30-90 day assignments. This detached guest cottage sits just seven blocks from the Atlantic, minutes from Baptist Medical Center - Beaches (0.7 mi) and Mayo Clinic (3 mi), making it a popular choice for travel nurses and medical staff, remote workers, and anyone relocating to the Jacksonville Beach area for an extended stay. Unlike most short-term rentals in the area, this cottage includes private access to an on-site washer and dryer (located in a separate utility room with its own entrance, just steps from the cottage - not inside the cottage itself) and free off-street parking - two things that matter a lot when you're settling in for a season, not a weekend. The space is bright, coastal, and private: a turquoise-blue detached cottage with its own fenced and gated yard, separate from the main house. Inside you'll find a cozy living area, a two-person dining table, a compact kitchen with a one-burner induction cooktop, microwave, and full-size fridge (no oven/range), and a dedicated workspace with desk and chair for remote work or end-of-shift documentation. The queen bedroom and walk-in shower bath round out the space. Quiet, residential, and a short walk to Jacksonville Beach Pier, Oceanfront Park, and South Beach Park (pickle ball, tennis, fitness trail, playground) - close enough to the beach to enjoy it daily, far enough from the tourist strip to feel like home.

The space

All linens, towels, and starter kitchen/bath essentials are provided. Laundry is available on-site via a private utility room entrance separate from the main house - convenient, but not located inside the cottage itself, so pack accordingly for your first day. Utilities are included in the monthly rate, along with AT&T Fiber WiFi and streaming access (Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu Live) - so you can move in and get straight to work (or the beach) and settled in front of the TV at the end of the day.
