This charming red farmhouse in Johnson, VT is fully furnished with all utilities included - one simple monthly rate covers everything, so you're set from day one. (excess utility charge in lease but unlikely to be an issue) Work and rest come easy here: a dedicated office/workspace with fast WiFi and a large curved monitor ready for your laptop, a private yoga studio, a king bed, and two full bathrooms (clawfoot tub + stone shower). The full butcher-block kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, and air conditioning mean no compromises on daily living. Self check-in with a smart lock makes arrival simple. Bringing a dog? The yard is fully fenced and pets are welcome. The porch with grill and seating is a great place to spend time with dogs or any kind of company. You're 1 mile from downtown Johnson, with the Gihon River across the road and a local swimming hole within walking distance. Copley Hospital in Morrisville is about 15 minutes away - an easy commute for travel nurses and healthcare workers. Stowe and Smugglers' Notch are 30-40 minutes for weekend skiing and hiking, and Burlington is about an hour. Quiet, private, and full of true Vermont character - mountain views, morning river sounds, and a landlord who responds within the hour. Sleeps up to 4. Available for 30+ day stays. The driveway is steep, and in the winter we ask for all wheel drive (AWD) and actual snow tires (not all season tires) which is just safe for driving in the area. Plow contractors typically guarantee showing up for 4 inches+ which works well with the right vehicle. We think its important to visit before committing. We understand that might not be possible but would still strongly suggest a video tour.

The space

We feel we have made the space pretty magical and unique, but it is a simple efficient design. Kitchen, bathroom, living room along first floor. Bedroom, bathroom, bedroom along second. A single direct vent heater heats the whole place with the help of gravity fed heating going up to the bedrooms through floor vents. We don't typically use the smaller bedroom as bedroom - rather as an office and yoga studio. You are welcome to put a bed in there for the duration of your visit, or we can provide an airbed.
