This 1940s cottage is well maintained and the property is surrounded by tall trees. It is tastefully decorated with a mix of older characteristics. The private half acre back yard has gardens, open patios, and a covered porch to store your bike. The screened porch is the perfect place to rest and relax while enjoying the sights and sounds of nesting songbirds. We maintain the 2 1/2 acre gardens surrounding the home with fruit trees, flowering trees, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. This two story home has two sections. One upstairs and one downstairs. Each is a private unshared space with private entrances. Both units of this 2800 Sq ft home are completely furnished and has a lot of modern upgrades for your comfort. The rent cost is different for each unit. Some outside space is shared. 1st Floor: The first floor currently has a tenant. 2nd floor: The second level unit has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a full size bathroom. A smart tv, table, and refrigerator are in the sitting room. There is a kitchenette with microwave, sink, small washer and dryer. The upstairs loft landing has a desk, daybed with pullout trundle. There is an abundance of storage furniture and closets. Both units have high-speed internet that allows for working from home and watching streaming TV on the 50-inch Smart TV. Each unit had a large sitting room and a desk for professional work. A few games are provided. All rooms have a ceiling fan that circulates cool air in the summer and warm air in the winter. There are window air conditioning units. Radiators provided heat in the winter. Beautiful hardwood floors add to the charm. This lovely cottage is attractive to corporate working professionals needing temporary quarters or traveling nurses. Could also be for a family moving to the area needing time to search for a permanent residence, or waiting for a home to be built, or enduring an insurance claim. Lease a unit or lease the entire home, if available. This fully furnished cottage includes utilities. Lease Includes rent, electric, fuel oil, trash collection, and internet, lawn maintenance, snow removal and home maintenance. All adult occupants of the home will complete the application, background search, sign the lease, and provide a copy of your ID. All children in the home will be listed on the lease. The signed lease is submitted with the damage deposit. Renters Insurance: Tenants must have renters' insurance and will provide a copy with Cherry Glebe LLC as the beneficiary. Trash: Renter is responsible for putting the trash out on Sunday evening. You are allowed one can. All trash is to be bagged. Parking: Convenient onsite parking is provided on paved driveway for up to 4 vehicles. We request tenants not to park in front of the maintenance garage. Smoking; No smoking, vaping, medical smoking, or illegal drugs in the home or on the property. If you smoke, kindly do not apply to rent this property. No parties or large gatherings. See signed lease for terms about visitors. Pets: There are no animals allowed. Garden space: Tenant has a designated 10x10 garden space that is available. The lease is for a minimum of 30 days with a 30-day notification of departure. The rent is not prorated and subleasing is not allowed. Rent is due on the 1st day of the lease date. A late fee of $5.00 per day will be assessed for each day rent is late with eviction process starting on the 3rd day. One adult over 25 will be the responsible party for the rent payment. Partial payments are not accepted. Deposit is refundable, if no damage. The damage deposit may not be considered the final month's rent. Maintenance: Tenants are responsible for general cleaning of the interior of the property, kitchen cooking wares, and provided furnishings. We kindly request that the tenants notify us for any and all maintenance issues. We are always responsive. As much as possible, a 24-hour notice will be given to the tenant prior to any routine maintenance tasks. An inspection will take place every month. The tenant will be notified. Tenants are not allowed to alter, paint, or make any changes to the property. Review your signed lease for additional specific information.i

The space

This 2 story cottage is charming. Each floor is a private secured unit with private entrance. 1 bedroom and 1 full bathroom. Neither the owner nor the manager live on site. A shared screened porch, covered porch, and patio are delightful relaxing space with outdoor furniture. The property has a 1/2 acre yard with gardens. We are not able to accommodate any pets.
