This apartment is the 2nd floor apartment. The main space includes two bedrooms, a newly renovated bathroom (featuring a clawfoot tub/shower, custom niche details and a handmade walnut vanity), a stocked kitchen, and a peaceful loft space. The living room area is drenched in sunlight with original windows and trim details with plenty of seating and a bluetooth speaker--perfect for a game night, good conversation, or lounging around with a book. The kitchen is cozy yet efficient, with butcher block extensions to expand your countertop space, plenty of cooking essentials, multiple ways to make coffee--from espresso to drip, as well as pantry basics like coffee/tea, cooking oil, salt and pepper. The fridge in the apartment is a beautiful vintage fridge in amazing condition. The one caveat is that the freezers back then were much smaller! If you need a larger freezer or fridge during your stay, there is one in the garage I will give you access to. There are two bedrooms on the main floor--a queen size and full size bed, adorned with artifacts found both locally and internationally. The loft space offers a long dining table/work desk overlooking the backyard gardens; open space for yoga and meditation, as well as an entertainment area with a couch and smart projector. In the warmer months, AC units can be found in both bedrooms, and the living room; and in the cooler months you'll have a Nest thermostat to adjust the heat. Linens and towels are provided for your stay. We share access to a backyard that I am little-by-little turning into a garden sanctuary. In the spring, summer, and fall, you are welcome to pick vegetables and herbs from the garden, and in the colder months, enjoy an evening around the fire pit. The home is located on a residential block in the city of Kingston and you must climb stairs to access the apartment.
