The stairs lead to an open floor plan where there is shared laundry, a kitchenette, and the lounge area. The kitchenette includes an apartment-sized refrigerator (4.6cu ft) with separate freezer, microwave, coffee maker, pizza oven and hot plate. A high top with two barstools is the dining area and a buffet includes all your glassware and dishes. This area is open and we will share laundry (I do about one load a week and will text you to make sure it is a good time for me to be in that space before I enter the area). Otherwise the entire downstairs is your space. To the left of the laundry is the two-bedroom suite which locks for your privacy. The bedroom has two large closets, lots of hangers included, and extra pillows, blankets and a second sheet set. The queen mattress has a comfortable headboard. In the fan club? I got you fam! There is an oscillating fan in the closet and if you really need the wind and noise, there's a box stand fan in the hall closet. There are also space heaters provided for those extra chilly nights. The office has a dedicated workspace and couch. The couch does lay flat into a small bed for days when work just wears you out. There are also queen-sized air mattresses in the hallway drawers for one additional guest (please keep guests to a 2-night maximum stay). The bathroom is a standup shower with detachable shower head. There is a makeup mirror and privacy glaze on the window. Some towels and toiletries are included. The lush backyard boasts two seating areas and large shady cottonwoods. There is a propane and charcoal grill in the garden. There is a gate next to the garage for bike storage.

The space

This is the perfect rental for someone who needs a cozy place to sleep, a bright workspace, and a lounge area for relaxing. While the house is circa 1950s, a lot of your area is updated. If you appreciate vintage charm with a funky splash of color, you'll definitely vibe in this guest suite! This is on the basement level where there is ample sunshine coming through two extra large egress windows. Shared entrance through the garage, then the downstairs is a large open floor plan with private bath and bed.
