Laundry on site. The space is well-suited for a single traveler or a couple, with a comfy queen bed and memory foam mattress topper. There is a workspace, kitchen table and chairs, dresser and wardrobe to hang and store your clothes, bathroom with stand-up shower, and sofa/futon and coffee table lounging area. I can provide linens and towels or you can bring your own! The kitchenette is equipped with a sink, microwave, mini fridge, two-burner electric cooktop, French press, dishes, cookware, and flatware. It's got what you need to make small meals, but if you cook a lot you may want something bigger. French doors open into the courtyard, where you'll find a fruitful orange tree, outdoor dining area, grill, and fire pit. Enjoy your coffee or a glass of a wine, and relax! Guests have private, unlimited use of the studio itself, and the back yard is shared with us, our baby daughter, small senior dog (all of 9 pounds and very friendly) and one other tenant. Feel free to use the yard at your leisure. There is an in-wall heater should you need heat (although it's LA so it's rare!) and I can also provide an electric space heater. There is a window AC unit that you may need during a summer month or two, but most of the time opening the door for a breeze is enough. I just ask that you don't leave the AC or heat on while you're not home! Could be a great fit for someone in town for work or an internship, or a recent transplant looking for something home-y while they they find their forever spot. I've loved hosting travel nurses for the last few years! Awesome neighborhood - walk 2 blocks to downtown Culver City - full of delicious restaurants with patios, the Culver Steps, the Culver movie theater, and the Kirk Douglas. The space

This detached one-room studio guest house has a separate entrance through the backyard of the main house, a 1920s Spanish Bungalow. Your own private space - come and go as you please! The studio is approximately 250 sq. ft., and has been thoughtfully and functionally finished with unique, DIY touches. Use of the courtyard for lounging and eating adds usable space, and the Cali weather makes indoor/outdoor living easy. Neighborhood: Palms/Culver City is walkable! The guesthouse is 2 blocks to the heart of downtown Culver - the Kirk Douglas Theatre, Sony Studios, The Culver Steps, The Culver Movie Theater, and tons of amazing restaurants. There is a Tuesday farmer's market on Main St., a yoga studio, Trader Joe's, and Palms Metro stop all only a few blocks walk. The neighborhood is a mix of young families, professionals, and long time residents, and is very kid and dog friendly. Vibes are social, but not a party destination.
