Our studio cottage sits behind our home, surrounded by greenery and flowers. There's a wonderful private yard protected by two securely, gated entryways. The interior is light and bright with large picture windows overlooking the patio. A well-stocked kitchen that includes all utensils and dishes along with a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, and toaster will greet you along side other amenities. Relax in the shower/tub combo with new towels, shampoo/conditioner and handmade soap. There's a closet with ironing board and iron as well as extra linens, towels and quilt for the queen-size bed. Outside you will find your own washer/dryer unit. Great AC. The Apple TV has an excellent sound system and is equipped with a plethora of streaming services. There's a desk set-up for remote work. Parking is on the street. We have gardening service twice a month. Our neighbors are a tight-knit, friendly group (and will respect your privacy) and we all pitch in for a security company that keeps our block amazingly safe and secure. We are looking for a quiet renter-we like to keep it peaceful for both ourselves and our tenant. We have a friendly, very quiet Bernadoodle on our side of property-she doesn't go into your yard. Our place is a beautifully, converted garage at 350 sq. ft.

The space

Our cottage is a studio space with full kitchen, bathroom with bathtub and shower, washer/dryer is in an enclosure in the yard, bedroom and living room area and lovely fenced private garden with patio furniture. Neighborhood: Our cottage is perfectly located in a very walkable area of Venice (I rarely use our car, walk everywhere!) We are a 20-minute walk to the beach and to the popular shopping street, Abbot Kinney Blvd. Whole Foods and CVS are two blocks away and we live across from a convenient supermarket. We are close to many great restaurants and public transportation. Regarding exercise, many fitness gyms and yoga studios are close at hand. We are a residential street nestled within a vibrant beachside town.
