Our home is a relatively new, two-story, two-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), completed in 2023. The ADU sits behind the main house as a separate residence, providing a comfortable living environment within an established residential neighborhood. A parking space is available for one vehicle. You'll be sharing the home with two friendly, respectful resident hosts (my husband and me, Mexican-American and Vietnamese) who occupy the second bedroom. We enjoy providing a welcoming, inclusive, and relaxed environment while respecting everyone's privacy and personal space. Our home has welcomed four tenants so far, including a medical student, a nurse and summer interns . Our current guest (leaving late December) has stayed for approximately a year and has especially appreciated the convenience of our location while completing clinical rotations at different hospitals throughout Los Angeles. We understand that being away from home for an extended period can be challenging. Our goal is to offer a comfortable, peaceful place where you can unwind after a busy day, whether you've been working, studying, or exploring the city. Available for a new guest beginning January 2027!

The space

Enjoy a spacious, sunlit furnished bedroom with warm afternoon light and lovely sunset views! Your private retreat includes a dedicated workspace with built-in charging ports, extra outlets, a personal mini-fridge, microwave, closet with shoe organizer, and full length mirror. You'll also have full access to our shared kitchen, including refrigerator and pantry space. Whether you're here for clinical rotations, work, or an internship, we hope you'll feel right at home like our previous guests have! Neighborhood: We are located in Historic Central Avenue where many black jazz artists & musicians played in the 30's and 40's. Today, the neighborhood is a predominantly Latino, working-class residential community with a variety of local restaurants, markets, and small businesses. Previous guests have appreciated having a central home base while traveling to different hospitals, universities, and workplaces.
