It's an authentic 1960s hunting cabin that was built from a Sears catalog kit years ago. It was recently renovated in 2020 to modernize it with all the everyday comforts for today's vacation standards. The home boasts a large, open concept living area upstairs which overlooks the serene woodsy, private neighborhood and the 460 sq ft deck offers one of the best places to start your morning or end a long day. Our personal favorite morning activity is to take our dog back behind the house for a morning hike (off-leash), with a coffee in hand. Our property backs up to acres and acres of trail systems that are extremely quiet and lightly trafficked. There, he takes a little swim in the stream before heading back to the house. This is a well-loved and visited home (we are Superhosts on Airbnb) and we love that we get the opportunity to share it with others to enjoy the beauty of this area.

The space

Come stay in this historic hunting cabin. Originally built in 1969 from a "log cabin kit," this rustic home now has the modern functionality to enjoy a Vermont getaway. The cabin has an open concept kitchen and living space upstairs for everyone to hang out together as well as a separate living space downstairs with a TV and foosball table. Outside you'll find a giant fire pit, acres of hiking trails, an oversized 460 sq ft deck, and a BBQ charcoal grill. Located only 5 minutes from downtown. Dogs welcome.
