Enjoy the perfect balance of comfort, history, and mountain views while you unwind with the whole family! Welcome to the Hoyt House: An elegantly renovated 1763 home in Manchester Village. Recently renovated to modern sensibilities, it still retains that historic charm, older than the country it sits in, on Manchester's unique marble sidewalk with beautiful views. Owner-managed by an attentive local family with everything you need to cook a great meal and furniture you can really relax on. From the historical paneled entry you move through the spacious living room and dining room into the newly renovated kitchen with gorgeous views including the back of Bromley Mountain--sunrise in the winter is spectacular. Out of the back door is a marble patio and large yard overlooking the mountains, with outdoor furniture in summer. The first floor also features a spacious master suite with ensuite and walk-in closet, study with mountain views, half bath with leaded window, and laundry. Upstairs you'll find 2 more bedrooms with mountain views and a bath with clawfoot tub/shower combo. There is shed storage for skis/boards and bikes. All systems and beds are brand new, and each bedroom has custom insulated blackout curtains and fitted storm windows. As this is a historical home, it has its unique attributes, including handblown glass, uneven floors, and other little idiosyncrasies that speak to the legacy of the generations who have called this their home. Come enjoy our comfortable, beautifully appointed historic home in an incredibly convenient location in Southern Vermont! Pets negotiable.
