The property is right off the road in a rural area, out of town but close to everything (most stores and restaurants are a 5 to 10-minute drive away)! There is a wetland located on the edge of our property so there are a lot of interesting birds and other creatures around and about. We live at the front of the property, in a big white farmhouse. We work from home. Someone is always there, so the property is very safe. We've also renovated one other cabin on the property, and one double-wide from which we host long and short-term clients. If you like nature there are some nice walks and Kayak locations nearby. Goodyear Lake (5 minutes away) and Gilbert Lake State Park (20 min away) are my favorites. There is a train nearby that you can hear throughout the day as it passes.

The space

The Starling Cabin boasts modern craftsmanship accented by original beams from the 1700s. It has an open floor plan design. The bedroom is on the mezzanine. There are currently two queen beds (one of these beds can be switched out for an office/desk if needed) and a pullout queen couch on the first floor for guests. It has a full kitchen with a dishwasher + gas oven/stovetop and a bathroom with a shower (no bathtub). A large deck in the back includes a grill and outdoor seating.
