Quiet, well-insulated, bright and cheery apartment with full kitchen on a quiet and beautiful road with views of 2 mountain ranges, and only 2 miles to downtown Middlebury. The apartment has a paved walkway that gets lit at night taking you to the private entrance and into the space. The house was renovated with very tight construction so indoor temps are very comfortable all year round. Views are towards/over a perennial garden and the Adirondack mountains beyond. The bathroom has a great shower head/pressure and a wide granite-topped bathroom vanity with plenty of area to spread things around. If you appreciate taking walks, the road is a walker's paradise affording views for miles all around but with an easy drive, or run, into town--and just due south of Burlington; a fun city with lots of shops, dining and entertaining options. The town of Middlebury is its own draw with a lovely river that runs through the center of town, unique shops and galleries and a great food coop. There is also a Hannifords and a Shaw's Market in town as well.

The space

The apartment in located in a private house on a beautiful road, only a short drive to downtown Middlebury where you will find a very unique town with art galleries, bookstore, great shops and restaurants dotted around the Otter Creek river. There is also a neat downtown area called Marbleworks that houses Flatbreads Pizza grill restaurant (a favorite local handout), Otter Creek yoga studios and Costello's, a gormet market and cafe.
