This furnished apartment is super sunny with lots of big windows. The house is historic and belonged to the Commandant of the Sloan Hospital, a Civil War Infirmary. I live on the premises, in the newer portion of the building. With many of its original features and old spruce floors, the apartment has historic charm with updated with modern conveniences. The layout of the apartment is well suited to a couple or two people. Neighbors are close-by and it's a quiet residential street in a very safe neighborhood. The apartment has 3 rooms with queen, queen, and king beds. One of the queen bedrooms can double as a living room as it also has a couch. This is where the tv is located. Each room has a closet, desk and bureau. The eat-in kitchen has full-size appliances and a vented hood. The bathroom has a tub-shower base, good lighting, and a large closet and many cubbies and drawers.

The space

The apartment is very cozy and sunny. There is a stair landing area with large bookshelves, and the kitchen, bathroom, and 3 rooms are accessed through the stair landing area. There are closets in all of the rooms, kitchen and bathroom. Laundry is off site and there are two great laundromats in town.
