Furnished finder blurbs My home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It is a ten minute walk to downtown Montpelier, and right across the street from the college green. My own suite is on the ground floor, and I rarely go upstairs except to do laundry. I have two cats. Both guest suites are upstairs. Both suites come with their own private bathroom. The larger suite is called Anna, named for the legendary ghost which haunts the bell tower at College Hall. The bedroom is 11x13, and is fully furnished, with a queen bed, desk, dresser, night table, small closet, and a built-in cabinet. The suite has a large (8x9) ensuite bathroom, with a full bathtub. The second suite is called Polly, after my aunt. The bedroom is 12x11, and is furnished with a full bed, desk, dresser, night table, and large closet. Polly gets great morning sunlight! And, I also have blackout curtains. There is also a third bedroom upstairs, Poe. This room is normally not occupied, because I want everyone to have their own private bathroom. However, if you are a group of two travelers, Poe and Polly can be rented together, for a 2-bedroom suite with a shared bathroom. Other cool house features: I have a giant deck on the backside of the house, overlooking a lovely wooded ravine that is home to many songbirds, and one fat hedgehog. Guests are welcome to use the deck any time, just please dont pitch cigarette butts over the rail. As you can see in the photos, my kitchen is a galley kitchen. It also has four doorways, one of which is the main entry to the house. So while it is perfectly adequate for most travelers (or, for bachelors like me), it is not well suited to large dinner parties. Did I mention, I have two cats? They tend to hang out in my rooms, or in the garden, and all cat-related stuff (food, litter boxes) are in my own private area and out of your way. However, if you are allergic, or if your traveling pet doesnt do well with other animals, here is your heads up. Snurf is very affectionate and will snuggle with any cat person. Her sister Flaca takes a little more warming up; you probably wont even see her for the first week or so. If you leave without shutting your bedroom door, the cats will probably nap on your bed.
