We are located about halfway between Route 89 and Sugarbush/Mad River Glen (about 20 minutes in either direction). Stowe and Bolton are about 45 minutes. Jay and Killington/Pico about 90. I find this location to be ideal, since it saves travel time to and from the city and points beyond. The property is on 3 acres of forest and meadow on a dead end private way, so traffic is limited. It really gets crowded at the resorts, and as an escapee of the city, I really value this seclusion. My goal is to find like-minded tenants. My property is located in a rural part of the state where a lot of the roads are unpaved. AWD is recommeded, preferably with snow tires. Mine are studded and it's a Subaru Outback (the unofficial state car). Vermont is a hard place to live but the beauty will take your breath away, so we put up with it and even enjoy the challenges. Your unit is my favorite part of this property. It's in the rear, so you have a wall of windows that overlooks our private forest, providing a sense of seclusion. There is a meadow just in front of the forest that deer and other wild creatures walk through regularly. Have you ever seen a flock of turkeys take to the wing? Well, you're in for a treat! This is a quiet and peaceful retreat from the crowds and noise of city life. The kitchen table is large enough to use as a workstation. There is a surge-protected power strip and plenty of lighting. High speed fiberoptic internet with strong wifi for work and music/tv streaming. Peaceful environment to help you relax and focus on remote work, telehealth visits, or your favorite books. Work in the morning and hit the slopes for soft afternoon turns. Or snag first chair and work in the evening. It's quiet enough here for that, since there is no noise from partiers or traffic. It you ski mid week you can lap the mountain and have the trails to yourself. No lines, no crowds. Ski like a local! The roads surrounding my property are unpaved and lined mostly with forests and fields. There is little traffic in the winter, making them ideal for long walks with or without your furry companion. My dog loves to check out all the tracks from our wild neighbors. I am looking for a minimum of three months' lease, with work and tenant or personal references. This price reflects the convenience to me that such a commitment on your part provides. The apartment is also listed on some short term rental sites if you want a shorter stay. Message me for details. Thanks for stopping by and I hope we can talk soon!
