The top floor of this house is a self-contained studio made available for travelers who seek a peaceful place to retreat during their stay in Morgantown. This beautiful historic home was built in the early 1900s as a bed and breakfast and was designed to welcome guests. In the later 1900s it was a rectory for the minister of the church across the street. Now it is a part time home to the director of two 501c3 organizations. With your own driveway entrance, you then enter thru the west side door and take two flights of stairs thru the main house (unoccupied 75% of the year) that lead you to the huge loft with high ceilings, amazing views, and total privacy. Other features include Tuft&Needle mattress, claw foot tub with shower wand, large fridge/freezer, stovetop, microwave, big closet, tons of storage, giant ceiling fan, a/c, w/d in basement, The hostess is the primary resident of the main two floors of the home. She travels 6-10 months of the year. So chances are you will not see her much or at all. When she is in town, she quietly enjoys her time with family and community. She uses the other (east) entrance and half of the driveway. The house has wonderful, peaceful, healthy energy. 12 weeks @ $300/week 5-12 weeks @ $400/week Additional person add $100/week 2 person max. A beautiful bedroom and shared use of the main bathroom, kitchen and dining room is also possible. Same rates, or combine loft and share of main house for a discount. Ask for details and photos.
