The building is a quiet building (1940s era) in a picturesque section of Washington Heights, upper Manhattan. We are on the top floor outer corner of the building which means we only share a living room wall with the neighbors so bedrooms make great sleeping environments with no neighbor noise and minimal street noise (though it is NYC, not the suburbs so please keep that in mind!) Were on a tree lined street a 10 minute walk to Fort Tryon park, the best park in the city in my opinion, which also contains the Cloisters medieval museum, and gorgeous views of the Hudson River and George Washington bridge. Three grocery stores, a bakery, with a variety of restaurants and other businesses nearby. Will evaluate appropriateness of pets on a case by case basis. Females only, at this time please, as I may need to stay over periodically. **Different rental arrangements available ! Whole apt vs 1 of the bedrooms. Let me know your preference.

The space

2BR 1-1/2 bath apt on top floor of a 6-floor elevator building with laundry in basement. Available : our larger bedroom w private en suite 1/2 bath and king size bed for $2000 plus $150 for electric. Two dressers. Closet (s) may be available depending on your desired length of stay. The other bedroom will be available for rent separately for $1800 plus $150 for electric. or you can rent whole apt. Deposit is negotiable . I am on site periodically. We can discuss which arrangement suits you best!
