Room available in gorgeous pre-war 3 bedroom apartment. The room is very large at 18'x 11' and is fully decorated and furnished with a queen bed, couch, desk, chifferobe for clothes storage inside the room, TV, mini fridge, microwave etc. The apartment, shared with two other people and one very friendly dog, is perennially sun-filled and has 9' high ceilings, hardwood floors and picture frame molding for an expansive and luxurious feel. Kitchen and bathroom are shared. The Broadyke Apartments is a beautifully maintained historic building with an elevator, laundry room on site, full time staff, and an entrance through a lovely private courtyard filled with flowers and birdsong. The A express train stop is about 10 feet from the building entrance and will get you to midtown in about 25 minutes. Looking for clean, quiet tenants who work outside of the home and are willing to maintain a vegan kitchen (any food in your room is fine). Roommates have varied schedules so must also be able to close doors quietly, willing to check before running loud appliances, and ideally not easily woken by things like footsteps or running water. First month's rent and equal deposit to move in, utilities, wifi, and household supplies included. 1-3 month leases only.

The space

If you don't know Inwood, it's the best kept secret in New York. Beautiful tree lined streets full of art deco architecture, families on their way to the playgrounds and community gardens, Fort Tryon Park right across the street, with the Met Cloisters inside, Inwood Hill Park and it's natural forest are a block away. Also across the street is a 24hr grocery store, library, restaurants, cafés, etc. All while 15 min to NYP, 25 to midtown and 35 to the West Village.
