Persian carpets on wooden floors, this sprawling house faces south and is light filled and beautiful. The house looks out on a lawn and an apple orchard. It is a cozy, quirky place, with tilting floors and rugs thrown about, steep wooden staircases and tiny doors, and colorful walls with paintings everywhere. The two other apartments are rented full time to wonderful people who are discreet and kind tenants, having lived here for some time. With a shared driveway on the side you will be using, the other apartment has its own drive and each apartment is very private. Tenants are quiet. The space

As you arrive, you'll climb rock steps to a stone terrace installed by my father in 1935. This post and beam farmhouse was built in 1780. Your room is upstairs, as is the bathroom. The rooms are very private. This is an old house with steep stairways, so this place is not for anyone with mobility issues. Shared kitchen space.
