The space is a private one bedroom garden apartment in a large Tudor home built in 1910. Fun historical fact, the space was home to a speakeasy during the Prohibition years, one of many speakeasies that existed in Nyack during that time period. (No, we havent found any old bottles of moonshine hidden in the wallsyet!) The property is on what was formerly a piano and church organ factory that was known around the world. While it is the lower floor of the house, the ceilings are quite high. There is a kitchen with a large refrigerator, and an electric oven and stovetop range with a ventilation hood. Theres a private washer and dryer in a room adjacent to the space that is all your during your stay. Our family of six (and two friendly dogs) lives upstairs. We do our best to keep things peaceful, though as this is a 1910 home, some normal household noise may carry through. If youre looking for a stylish, comfortable stay in a lively, family-centered home, this is the perfect spot. The apartment has a private entrance, your own outdoor seating area, and easy street parking. Were always happy to help with local tips or recommendations to make your stay special.
