This separate house built onto ours is completely independent with a private entrance. It offers hardwood floors, radiant heat in winter, AC, large windows, a private kitchen, private bath (1st floor), garden views, good wifi and large smart TV. The property is set on 2.5 acres of beautiful flower gardens and is 1/3 mile from access to Lake Fairlee. The spacious and tastefully furnished interior has a 1000 square ft open-concept living/dining room area and large windows facing the gardens. The carpeted loft up a flight of stairs, provides two semi-private bedroom-sized alcoves each with queen bed, and a smaller alcove with a twin. All three alcoves have a dormer window and Chinese screens for added privacy. While there are three sleeping areas, we list this as a 1 bedroom due to the open concept. Housekeeping is available for a $35 hourly fee. The unit has its own washer and dryer, and hanging wracks. The village of Post Mills is populated by 320 people and is both quiet and scenic. Our well-stocked general store with gas station contains a post office and is 1.5 miles away, Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital is a 21 mile scenic commute with minimal traffic. As landlords we live on site and respond quickly to address tenant issues, but will not be intrusive. Pets are allowed on a case by case basis. We welcome all people here. This space is also an Airbnb. It's more likely to be available if booked 2 months in advance.
