The Cottage is an open design with an aspen log bunk (queen on bottom, single on top). There is additional mattress under the bed. There is a custom live edge bar with stools that separate the living area from the full kitchen. The property sits on some acreage separated from the neighboring property by fencing out back of the Cottage.

The space

When you come in the front door, to the left behind the door is a wood stove which heats up the Cottage quickly if you were to need/want it. There is an armoire to store clothing and personal items. A small seating area is also there and behind that is the bunk bed. Behind that is the bunk bed. To your right is a hall tree for jackets and shoes. Also to the right is the bathroom with a shower, toilet and vanity sink. It is small and cozy. There is a wall unit heater and air cooler. Neighborhood: The South 40 Cottage is located about 15 miles (15-20 minutes) Northeast of Prineville Oregon. It is nestled among ponderosa pine trees and is a short walk to the Ochoco National Forest. It is oh so quiet and has a front porch deck to enjoy the woods, frequent deer and other wildlife visits, and the magnificent starry skies at night. There are neighboring ranches. There are also RV sites close for rent as well.
