This peaceful community is a blend of year-round residents and summer homes, offering a quiet retreat just moments away from the water. Rich in history, Abele Park has roots that date back to the early 1900s, when it was a vibrant tourist destination for both locals and New York City visitors. The area once boasted hotels, casinos, social halls, and even speakeasies-attracting many, including the legendary Babe Ruth. Today, Abele Park remains a peaceful hideaway where visitors can slow down, reconnect with nature, and savor simple moments by the water. The closest MetroNorth train stations are Peekskill and Cold Spring. Both trains are on the Hudson line and will take you into Grand Central Station NYC in about 80-90 minutes. They are both about 20 minutes from the property.
